General Description: Fix for avoiding crash when exe values is equal to "*" or "*\" or "*/" Detailed Description: Freezemonitor crashes whenever it tries to extract base name from exe patterns involving "*", "*\" or "*/". After the installation of this patch, freezemonitor should now be able to ignore the applications with this exe values. General Description: Fix for freeezemonitor's inability to release license when there are multiple features without usage Detailed Description: Freezemon is unable to release licenses for features with usage whenever there are unused features. After the installation of this patch, freezemonitor should now be able to remove the licenses of features with usage, even if there are unused features.
General Description: Excel and word files open with delay when an application is suspended. Detailed Description: There is a delay in opening excel and word files when an application is suspended either manually or by LicenseOptimizer since they are using the /dde option. The installation of this patch makes LicenseOptimizer change the registry to avoid /dde option in opening word and excel files.
General Description: Fix for parsing license status having multiple versions per feature. Detailed Description: Freezemonitor fails to parse lmstat formats that have multiple feature versions causing incomplete license information. With incomplete license information, disabler fails to remove the license. General Description: Return-Command backup Detailed Description: Added lmremove return command backup functionality. In case the first lmremove command found in return-command.arguments fails to remove the license, the second lmremove command found in return-command.arguments-backup will be used to remove the license. All of these can be set in the freezemonitor configuration (freezemonitor.lm.flex.return-command. arguments-backup). General Description: require-same-licenses Detailed Description: Added new configuration, ‘require-same-licenses’. When set to ‘yes’, it enables the disabler to check or require the same number of licenses used before resuming the application. This can be added on cold.conf. General Description: Improved log messages of Disabler. Detailed Description: This patch improves openit_disabler log messages.
Unpack the zip file anywhere on the machine to patch. Run install.exe to start installation. Once the patch has been installed, you may delete the unpacked directory. NOTE: The patch must be installed by a user with administrator rights.
